http://usdebtclock.org/ One fun fact quickly gleaned is that UNFUNDED Social Security, Prescription Drug, and Medicare liabilities equate to $1,020,226 per taxpayer! That is, 25 years of gross income for the median US per capita income today. Screw the 14.3 Trillion dollar debt cap we are up against, which is 45k per citizen or 129k per taxpayer, by the way, (and equal to our GDP, and 7 times the annual Federal Income Tax revenue, which, by the way, regardless of tax rate, is always 20-22% of GDP, which means the only way to grow it in real dollars is to grow GDP), our brilliant politicos have hooked us on SS, prescription drugs, and "free" medical care to the tune of 113 TRILLION dollars! And we know it! We have a looming liability of 8 TIMES our GDP! We cannot pay it. Period. How did we get there? Our politicians voted for it and DIDN'T TELL YOU the danger. Currently, the US ranks between Greece and Spain in debt per GDP. Nice company there, huh?
